Sarah Fernandes' live performance of Franz Schubert's Impromptu Opus 90 No 2 in E-flat Major: This was her first recital of the piece that she has grown to love so much. She played it at her recital at the Texas State International Piano Festival (TSIPF) in June 2023 the week immediately following the week at the Scripps National Spelling Bee, where she was a finalist. Recording of 10-year-old Sarah Fernandes performing J.S. Bach's Italian Concerto, BWV 971 - First Movement (Recorded May 2022) This "concerto" is a solo piano work. It was actually originally composed for a two-manual harpsichord back when Bach had it published in 1735.

At a very young age of 10, Sarah Fernandes made her debut as a soloist with a professional orchestra, at the Ganz Hall in Chicago. She performed Haydn Piano Concerto in D Major 3rd movement. She was among the chosen 16 that earned a spot to play solo with the orchestra after competing with over 100 contestants, representing 23 states and 6 different countries, with most contestants almost twice her age. Sarah had an amazing musical experience and is so grateful for this opportunity. Thanks to the IYACC for this wonderful experience! It was an honor performing with a great group of musicians.
